Katy Perry proves double standard while committing a #MeToo moment.

“American Idol”, we’ve all watched it at least once in our lifetimes. This particular evening included a 19-year-old young man auditioning by the name Benjamin Glaze. That evening, he was the recipient of a big, fat, unwanted kiss from pop singer Katy Perry. [I’m not going to lie, I as a 32 year-old man would have been fine with it]. She is physically very attractive, let’s be honest. But this young man felt very uncomfortable, even stated so before it happened.

He was pressured into it on stage before even doing his audition. He simply stated how he wanted his first kiss to be with someone he had sincere feelings for. Perry did not seem to care. On the show “American Idol”, to be fair Perry is naturally flirtatious. But that does not excuse a forceful kiss a 19-year-old young man who was obviously uncomfortable and did not want to do it.

He was hesitant to even kiss her on the cheek. She put him on the spot as it were. So he confirmed, “on the cheek?” She said “yes”, he did so. Perry said immediately after, “there wasn’t even a “smush” sound!” as she and the co-hosts chuckled. From there she insisted he do so once more. He obliged hesitantly, but Perry then quickly turned her head intentionally to give him a big kiss on the lips.

This young man Benjamin despite Perry’s sex appeal, did not want to kiss her. He would be in the minority, as nowadays casual, sexual acts are more the social norm. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to have your first intimate encounter [whether it be a kiss or sex] to be with someone you sincerely care for. Katy Perry to no surprise doesn’t seem to understand this as this is and has been the way of the left, especially Hollywood. “Liberation by sex” essentially.

Can you imagine what would’ve happened if the situation was reversed? A male host doing that to a 19-year-old woman with the same values? He would be fired, raked over the coals, crucified by the media for “sexual harassment”. But when a pretty woman does it, it’s just “peachy”? Benjamin initially received flack about “complaining” regarding that unwanted kiss. How dare he speak the truth of how he felt!

The only positive from this, is it does put more evidence to the fact there is a sincere difference between men and women. I just mentioned how as we already know, if it was a man doing that to a 19-year-old woman he’d be screwed [not in a fun way]. The double standard proves that because of men’s naturally higher aggressive nature is why Katy Perry is not being outed for what ended up being the exact definition of a “#MeToo” moment.

Despite Glaze being the gentleman he seemingly is, stating Katy Perry did not “sexually harass” him. He is just being nice about it, we’re nice guys. We take it on the chin time to time for women, you’re welcome. He had said regarding the incident, “I wanted to save it for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special”…”Would I have done it if she said, “Would you kiss me?’ No, I would have said no.” Where are you “MeToo, TimesUp” activists? That’s what I thought, you damn hypocrites!

Perry has a bit of a record on the show of being flirtatious with male guests auditioning. She had placed her leg across the table to have a man grab his “ticket” from between her toes. Bragging about her beautiful feet. Though the man was a bit older and did not seem to mind at all, it’s still inappropriate. There was another man, again to be fair he was just as flirty with Perry as she was with him. But she did instigate it. This time it was a 27-year-old man [who also had his GF with him] whom was flirted with hardcore by Katy Perry. It was reciprocated as I said, but it shows the truth to Katy Perry’s flirtatious ways.

I am not trying to make Katy Perry out to be some type of villain. I am simply reporting on this “incident” because it proves the hypocrisy that is the Left in particular in Hollywood. It reflects the hypocrisy of the women’s march, times up, and the me too “movements”. If they were sincere about it, they would have at least made a statement of how we should maybe not force ourselves on teenagers male or female when they’re quite obviously uncomfortable.

It proves there is a double standard when it comes to these sexual related incidents. We all know what would have occurred had it been a man kissing a 19-year-old girl who had never kissed anyone because they wanted to “wait for the right person” as it were. Lastly, it shows how “sex” in general has been morphed over the years. How it being so casual, lacking commitment and love for someone is perfectly fine and even liberating, some how.

To each their own. But if I were Katy Perry, [I’d be super rich] I would tread very carefully. One of these days she or someone else is going to do this to some young man who isn’t going to simply “get over it” or “let it slide”. Let’s stop pretending it’s creepy for men to make these types of “advances”. But females that are guilty of the same damn thing are portrayed as “empowered women”. If it’s wrong it’s wrong. Let’s put a stop to this hypocritical bullshit.
